What is Raise Digital?

Raise Digital is a free, online mentoring program for young people aged 13-16. Every week, for the length of the program, the young person meets 1:1 with the same expertly-trained, youth safety-checked, volunteer mentor for 45-50 minutes using Raise’s proven mentoring curriculum. Our mentors provide a safe, non-judgemental space for a young person to develop the skills they need to survive and thrive in adolescence.

Youth safety is central to everything we do at Raise. Raise Digital sessions take place within our specifically designed and built online mentoring platform and every session is supervised by our degree qualified, professional Program Counsellors.

What programs are available?

We offer two Raise Digital programs to meet the individual needs of the young person. Both have a flexible structure which is adapted to the specific needs of the young person.

17- week program

Many young people struggle during the adolescent years. Over a structured but flexible 17-week program, the mentor and young person will explore a range of topics focusing on building the skills needed to navigate adolescence and thrive.

  • Developing confidence
  • Learning how and who to ask for help
  • Building resilience
  • Strengthening connections to school, family and friends
  • Managing stress
  • Improving hope for the future

Choose the 17-week program if:

  • you are looking for an in-depth program to help navigate your individual challenges and develop a broad range of skills
  • you can commit to the full 17 weeks

10- week program

Many young people suffer in silence. Over a structured but flexible 10-week program the mentor and young person will focus on how to get the support they need.

  • Developing confidence in asking for help
  • Building skills in seeking help

Choose the 10-week program if:

  • you are not feeling supported and need help changing that
  • you can commit to the full 10-week program
