What is Raise Digital?

Raise Digital is a free, online mentoring program for young people aged 13-16. Every week, for the length of the program, the young person meets 1:1 with the same expertly-trained, youth safety-checked, volunteer mentor for 45-50 minutes using Raise’s proven mentoring curriculum. Our mentors provide a safe, non-judgemental space for a young person to develop the skills they need to survive and thrive in adolescence.

Youth safety is central to everything we do at Raise. Raise Digital sessions take place within our specifically designed and built online mentoring platform and every session is supervised by our degree qualified, professional Program Counsellors.

What programs are available?

We offer two Raise Digital programs to meet the individual needs of the young person. Both have a flexible structure which is adapted to the specific needs of the young person.

Many young people struggle during the adolescent years. Over a structured but flexible 17-week program, the mentor and young person will explore a range of topics focusing on building the skills needed to navigate adolescence and thrive.

  • Developing confidence
  • Learning how and who to ask for help
  • Building resilience
  • Strengthening connections to school, family and friends
  • Managing stress
  • Improving hope for the future

  • they can commit to the full 17 weeks

10- week program

Many young people suffer in silence. Over a structured but flexible 10-week program the mentor and young person will focus on how to get the support they need.

Impact of Raise programs

Statistically, the most critical years of adolescence are between 15 and 17 when most suicides occur. Early intervention through youth mentoring can make a significant and lasting difference to the young people who take part by helping them develop the skills to they need to navigate the challenges they face. We robustly evaluate our programs through extensive internal and external evaluation.
